It is with deep sadness that we remember Carol Fein Schwartz, a cherished member of our sculpture group, who passed away suddenly on December 10, 2025, at the age of 82. Carol was a longtime participant in the Sculpture Affiliates of the Art Center of Northern New Jersey.
Throughout her years with our group, Carol's artistry was a source of joy and inspiration. Her large, carved wooden sculptures, whimsical children’s figures, and oversized pocket books consistently brought smiles to the faces of those attending our sculpture exhibitions. Carol’s creativity extended beyond wood; she ingeniously rolled up pages from magazines to design architectural clothing, demonstrating her innovative approach to art.
Carol’s bubbly personality and sense of humor made her an irreplaceable presence among us. Her fabulous work and vibrant spirit will be deeply missed.
