Young Expressions 2026

The Art Center of Northern New Jersey congratulates this year’s Regional High School participants in Young Expressions, our annual showcase of emerging talent throughout the region and our community.

Always inspirational, in January this years group featured a wealth of talent and a broad range of voices in many media. The exhibit exemplifies the continuing and vital impacts of art education in our local High Schools.

ACNNJ is proud to celebrate the efforts and accomplishments of these students, their teachers, and families.

Special thanks to our Board Member and New Milford High School Art Department Lead, Lauren Finizia, for her work in coordinating this regional event. Also, thank you to Board Member Herrat Sommerhoff for announcing the awards ceremony, and to Juror Will Robertson of Comic Adventure for his careful consideration of all the submissions. At the Art Center we agree that selecting awards among this bounty of creative talent is a challenging task!

To many who pitched in to help our teens create this exhibit, and who contributed an array of treats and snack, your generosity makes the Art Center a welcoming and wonderful experience for all.
