New for Kids! Collaging Utopia
Collage comes from the old French word for “gluing’. It involves taking various materials, usually images, and combining them together to form one whole.
Images are like language, we can read, respond, and use them to express something entirely new and unique. This class will be all about telling your own story and making your own images!
Teacher Dora Nano is a multi-media visual artist and film maker who integrates yoga principles like stretching and breathing into her art classes.
Note: This children’s class is offered for 2 age groups at 2 different time slots.
• A session for 7–9 year olds if offered on Saturday from 12:30–2:00pm.
• A session for 10–12 year olds is offered on Tuesday afternoon from 3:45–5:15pm.
