Be inspired this winter by an intensive session with acclaimed watercolorist Marilyn Rose.
In addition to decades of prestigious awards and recognition, Marilyn received the First North American Winsor Newton Watercolor Residency in 2025. Her work takes a traditional medium and pushes its boundaries, with a boldness and exuberance, that she invites the viewer to share.
In this 3-hour afternoon workshop, Marilyn will instruct a limited number of students as they use the dynamic qualities of watercolor to capture the live, unclothed model in gesture, line and shape. The session includes demos, exercises, and more realized works which will help the participant paint the figure as a subject on its own or incorporate people into an environment.
